Tailscale release a new version (1.60.0) end of last week – and suddenly my ful mesh network works.
I have (Currently) a netowrk that sits behing a BT router, and a Pfsense firewall/router) in bridged mode (more about that later) and had a lot of conflicts between running NAT/Upnp on Pfsense and on the BT router.
But after a lot of fiddling and the new version – I can now seamlessly access all my 13 nodes with a minimum of problems.
The nodes include Tailscale installed on
– AppleTV
– Gl-inet AXT1800 travelrouters
– Raspberry pi 4
– PfSense
– MacOs
– Synology
So hopefully a fairly comprehensive mesh network that I will extend later on this week.
