I've decided to write one or more Drupal modules, but to get started I need to know a lot more about how Drupal modules work - so I've taken a module written by someone else for Drupal 4.7, and I am trying to upgrade this to work under Drupal 5.0.

So I have started unpicking the "blog crossposter" module and started converting it.

As I seem to be having problems with the Movable Type xmlrpc interface between Ecto and Drupal I'm now (for this post) using the Metaweblog interface.
