Ikea Store Geothermal HeatingHm! Article from the "reuk.co.uk" site - I am utterly unimpressed, the country of Norway can probably show to the same statistics for the country as a whole....in our last houe in Lillehammer all heating was electrical (hydro - the only type on offer)...so 100% from renewable sources... Swedish IKEA stores already obtain over 90% of their energy needs from renewable sources - primarily hydro power with some wind power. With their new store in Karlstad, Sweden, IKEA are going one step further using geothermal power sourced from the store's site. 101 holes are being drilled...
