Extracting GPS data from travel recorders for Mac OsX

After thinking about the ATP Photo Finder I started looking for ways to make this work with my iPhone - and as far as I can see this will mean that I need to upload the data from a GPS recorder to my Mac, and then write some software to embed the tags form this into the photos.

So far I have not found any such software for the ATP, but I found this software for some other GPS recorders:
