Just to try to stop others making the same stupid mistake I just made in setting up secure SMTP mail on OsX server - like this :

and then trying to find out which port to use.

I tried the one in the Firewall setup (port 587) - but no luck.

Combined with a stupid bug in the iPhone's mail setup which may override any port setups you have set.

Well - it turns out to be the easy one, port 25 is used......not good for my purposes where I want a non-secure and a secure SMTP server sitting on different physical servers. So I had to NAT this in my firewall.
