Occasionally I get rather pissed off with something I see/hear on the news, and this morning it is another sub-standard government spokesman on education that shows that he is out to score political points, and not understands fully what he is talking about!

His suggestion is that we need to start sacking underperforming teachers - which is not in itself wrong, but maybe we should demand the same for all underperforming workers, including public servants (hint hint) and politicians?

And there is more wrong with UK schools - including salaries for teachers....
