I have at long last managed to get Drupal 5.1 and Ecto work together.

The key is the "Technorati" module, and the "Categories" tab in Ecto.

Nb! Set Ecto to use the Movable Type API with Drupal during the account setup, and use your own login name and password to authenticate.

First of all create a new Category in Drupal, and associate it with your blog in Drupal

In this example the "Ramblings" category is associated with the "Blog entry". Now edit this and add in some terms to the vocabulary.

Go to the categories tab in Ecto and press refresh:

All the terms you added to "Ramblings" will now pop up!

Go to the administration interface for the Technorati module and choose :

And yes - I realise that this is not logically correct, but there is a bug in the current version of the Technorati module which means that you have to choose "both".

This gives you the following display problem :

(notice the "Array" at the end) this is because there are no terms in the Technorati database entry for this node, so it should not display anything, but such is life.
