I'm amazed (and so I suspect is Apple) over the number of people extending AppleTV already. It's only been out for a short period of time, but the number of addons is phenomenal.

This is a plugin architecture - probably the most promising way of extending the appliance IMHO.

This may even give me the necessary reason to buy it.
