Now that we have a Wattson in the house (and there are more postings about this device on the blog) and it has been sitting there collecting data since the 8th of October.

So just to share our findings with everyone :

We've got a house that's basically full of technology gear - so I am really surprised how little electricity we really use - as we never turn off ours computers (and there's at least 6 of them turned on at any time) plus 2 Sky boxes, 3 TV's etc.

But I suspect that the Wattson has already reduced our power consumption just by being placed in our hallway where we can see it whenever we walk around the house. There's something hypnotic and addicting about always knowing what your usage is that makes you turn off lights etc.
