Arduino in parasitic (and wireless) spread of messages

tor's picture

What a cool project - it's made by putting a Arduino and a zigbee module together, and every time one of these finds another similar module nearby, the 2 devices checks who's the "strongest" and a message is passed from the strongest to the weakest, in a parasitic mode.

The message is displayed on a small LED matrix.

I can see this working on a conference!

the project:Basis of the project are little information devices you can put on messages which exchange those under each other. These devices are attached on different elements in urban space like “interactive stickers”, which serve as hosts from now on. This means, they ensure the transport of the single devices and therewith also the circulation of the messages. Instead of just staying on one place, the messages spread along the operating radius of the hosts. If two divices meet each other, an information exchange takes place. This effects, that the messages spread on their own and that they even get independent from the origin device. By this way, a maximum of information spreading is achieved, also and especially with people, who do not fit in the normal audience grid.
