Hi Jason,

We didn't get Open Directory support implemented for 1.3.

For 1.4, we'll have Read-Only support for LDAP directories that use the RFC2307/POSIX schema. This should enable support for Open Directory Server, though I haven't specifically tested it yet

Note: you won't be able to create users from Crowd - we won't have the ability to create the necessary uidNumber, gidNumber, and home directory attributes. We plan on adding that capability in the medium-term.

1.4 will be out within the next fortnight.
