I've decided to write one or more Drupal modules, but to get started I need to know a lot more about how Drupal modules work - so I've taken a module written by someone else for Drupal 4.7, and I am trying to upgrade this to work under Drupal 5.0.

So I have started unpicking the "blog crossposter" module and started converting it.

Btw. I'm trying to document my experiences here - and they will all be tagged with "Drupal development" tags.

And this is the point - tags from Ecto do not make it into Drupals taxonomy or freetagging, so in the end I want to make a module to do this.
