As you can see they report electricity consumption around with approximately 15% difference. One is a Wattson - the other one a costco Envir sensor.

Next - what is the real usage?

I got the combination powergorilla and Solargorilla for my birthday - as a result of trying to charge way too many things when we went camping in Switzerland this year, and I managed to both deplete it fully during a scout event this weekend, and then charge it again.

But back to basics :

As readers of this blog will know we bought a Outwell Indian Lake tent before the summer holidays.

We have now been to 3 Explorer camps with this tent - one of those for 7 days in Switzerland, and in very different conditions, from very hot sunshine to very, very heavy rain, and the tent (and we) have survived, so it is about time to write about the tent end our experiences.

First of all this is a unusual tent - and you will get to know people if you have one, as there are lots of curious stares and comments :

We took the Eagles Explorer Scouts to Gilwell24 this weekend - and even though the weather was not at it's best a (very) good time was had by all - some of the photos that we Twittered and Brightkite'd while we were there :
From the opening ceremony where Bear Grylls was made the new chief scout:

Just look at the sea of explorers - there does not seem to be any diminishing interest in Scouting for the 14-19 year olds, the one thing everyone remarked on was how many more girls were present this year
