Hm! It may be time to let go of the old-fashioned key:

When I went to make a cup of coffee this morning on our trusty Gaggia Synchrony, it came out cold, and the machine was making very strange noises. After taking it apart it was fairly clear that a new machine was needed, so we started looking for one, and ended up with the Gaggia Xtwo, which was bought a a serious discount from a local branch of Whittards:

And I am happy to report that it makes very good coffee, and to my wife's great delight it actually makes a mean cup of cappuccino!

Interesting - for those projects where the Arduino memory limitations are just to restricting :

Sanguino is a new microcontroller board inspired by the Arduino. We took the biggest baddest 40-pin DIP that Atmel makes and made a board with it. Its based on the atmega644P which provides 64K of flash, 4K of ram, 32 GPIO pins, and tons of other stuff. The best part: its compatible with the Arduino software, which means all of your code should run on it no problem, and you can program it just as easily.
